This is our predicted Forza Horizon 6 post-launch roadmap, based on Playground Games' FH4 and FH5 release cadences. Updated as Playground confirms each phase officially.

Day-1 → Month-1

  • May 15, 2026 — Premium / Ultimate early access.
  • May 19, 2026 — Global launch. Festival Playlist Series 1 begins.
  • May 22, 2026 — First Festival Playlist weekly reset.
  • Late May 2026 — First Day-1-bug hotfix patch.
  • June 2026 — First Car Pass drop (Premium / Ultimate).

Month-1 → Month-3

  • Festival Playlist Series 2 begins.
  • Two more Car Pass drops (one per month).
  • First seasonal Showcase update.
  • Likely first balance pass on touge / drift physics.

Month-3 → Month-9

  • Seasonal events tied to real-world calendar (summer rain, autumn fog, winter snow).
  • Themed Festival series (Anniversary, JDM Weekend, Hot Hatch month).
  • Probable PS5 Pro patch refinement, Xbox Series S optimisation pass.

Expansions

The Premium / Ultimate edition Expansion Bundle covers two large content packs.

  • Expansion 1 — predicted Q4 2026: a contained themed map (Hot Wheels-style stunt or another Japan island).
  • Expansion 2 — predicted Q2 2027: a different gameplay genre (Rally Adventure-style off-road campaign).

Long-Term Support

FH4 received content for ~4 years; FH5 is still receiving updates in 2026. FH6 is expected to be the live Forza Horizon title through at least late 2029, with weekly Festival Playlist updates the entire time.
